Bundle of two individual courses Śrī Rudrapraśnaḥ & Camakam at a highly reduced bundle fee. Study at your own pace. There are no live classes or evaluations included, but you are invited to any Rudram Sādhana open to students who have course access. You will have the option to upgrade to a live program in 2027 (if it is offered). Only when enrolled in a live course, you will have the option to have your practice evaluated through homework.

If you later choose to upgrade to a live course when it becomes available, please note that it will be challenging for Shantala to support you in refining or realigning svaras unless this foundational work has already been undertaken in prior courses.

Description

This is a self-paced complete study program on learning to chant Śrī Rudram. Starting with Rudrapraśnaḥ the most famous mantra & prayer to Lord Śiva or Rudra. Considered the most important sādhana a yogī can undertake, it provides the means for gaining eligibility for the knowledge unfolded by the mantra, revealing the truth of oneself. This hymn is considered to be very efficacious in neutralising the result of wrong actions. Also known as Namakam.

The Camakapraśnaḥ consists of eleven sub-divisions called anuvākas. This hymn is generally recited after Rudrapraśnaḥ in which we ask Īśvara for very specific blessings. Swami Dayananda Saraswati says “Suppose Bhagavān were to appear in front of you and ask what you want, you simply chant the Camakam!!”

Camakam therefore becomes a request to Īśvara in His own words, because it includes everything.
