Hanuman Stuti – Donation event

July 21 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Hanuman Stuti – Donation workshop
Friday 21 July
11am NY | 5pm Brussels | 8.30pm India
1.5 hours workshop
100% proceeds to Villa Indigo

Forming part of the prayers recited before the commencement of Rāmayaṇa Pārayaṇa (a complete reading of the Rāmayaṇa), this Hanuman Stuti is a beautiful adoration of our beloved Hanuman. His devotion to Lord Rāma is incomparable, his strength inconquerable, his personality charming as a mountain of gold. His eyes are flooded with tears of joy when names and praises of Lord Rāma are uttered. Endowed with intelligence and thoughts as swift as Vāyu, he has mastered his senses. I salute Hanumān. May we be graced with the strength of his celebrated bhakti. This is what we chant in this stuti.

Workshop objectives:

At the end of this mini workshop, you will:

  • Learn the hymn Hanuman Stuti – following chandas (meter) and honouring Sanskrit pronunciation.
  • Understand the significance and source of this hymn.
  • Make a donation to Villa Indigo – a respite house for seriously ill children.

Workshop level:

All levels – some background in Sanskrit chanting will be useful, but beginners are most welcome! This is not Veda chanting, therefore more accessible to all levels.

Workshop fee:

100% of your contribution will be donated to Villa Indigo, a respite house for serious ill children. Veda Studies has been donating to this project since 2018.

A minimum donation of €10 is automatically added to your cart. If you would like to donate more, which we warmly recommend, please change the quantity on the left or on the cart page. Veda Studies and its students have been donating to this wonderful institution for many years. To maximize the proceeds, please pay by credit card rather than by PayPal (they charge much higher fees). Thank you for generous donations!

If your financial situation does not allow you to make a contribution at the moment, just write to us and we will include you in the workshop.

Course platform & resources:

  • Workshop will be taught on Zoom. If the time/schedule of this class is not suitable, replay of the entire workshop will be made available.
  • Workbook is provided with text – in English transliteration & Devanāgari along with meaning.
  • All students will receive access to a self-paced course with workshop recording & additional learning resources.
