For the last two years, the founder of Indic Academy, Hari Kiran Vadlamani and I have been working on bringing a chanting teacher training program to our community. With blessings from my Gurus, The Challakere Brothers, I am very excited to announce that we will launch this certification program in September this year.

Some highlights of this highly structured program will be an immersion in the tradition I grew up in, watching my mother build a devotional chanting community, sharing my experience studying with The Challakere Brothers – insights, practices, being, committing, practicing & the continuous study. Learning to teach mantras from both the Veda as well as the daily prayer Hindu tradition in South India, a strong focus on theory and refinement in chanting, getting organised and skilled to lead chanting classes are some of the key elements of this training.

The intensive will run online from September 2022 to May 2023. All details of this program will be published shortly and applications for the program will be invited. The first information session will be held on 21 of May so that interested applicants can have full visibility into the program before applying.
