This is a (free) class for all students, past, present & future to join us to learn the invocatory prayers recited at the beginning of all our classes.

Program:

11AM – 11.30: Invocatory mantras & meaning
11.30 – 11.50: Shanti mantra: Saṃ no mitraḥ
12.00 – 12.30: Practice : Srī, Durga, Śraddha, Medha, Devī (as many as time permits).

We may not be able to stick to this program if students need more practice with a specific area, so this is a tentative program.

You are welcome to join us even if you do not know all the mantras, come and practice what you know. You may also join us if you are curious about Veda mantra chanting.
