The two popular traditions of Yoga and Vedānta share similar concepts and practices. They consider related texts, but bring forth different meanings.

In this one-day workshop, some selected verses from the Yoga Sutras of Patañjali will be taught in the light of non-dual Advaita Vedanta in a clear and insightful way by Neema Majmudar, disciple of Swami Dayananda Saraswati, Arsha Vidya.

This session can lead to a unique perspective of knowledge about one’s subject for every yoga student and yoga teacher.

Walk in the countryside

Table tennis (if it rains!)

3pm – 4pm:

Yoga and Vedanta continued.

Quick tea break

Concluding discussion.

5pm – 6pm
Chai/snack/prepare to leave or stay longer

You will:

1. Chant selected Yoga Sūtras of Patañjali.
2. Have an insight into what Samādhi means in the Śāstra.
3. Enjoy Neema’s articulate and insightful analysis of the Yoga Sūtras in light of Vedanta.
4. Enjoy a gathering in the countryside with the local Veda Studies community ❤️.
