Prayer has been one of the most ancient healing modalities that modern medical practitioners are also increasingly starting to acknowledge. The power of prayer has been known to ancient civilizations like India and is based on principles of restoring wholeness of the being rather than only healing the part.

Dr. Vignesh, 4th generation Āyurvedic healer and founder of Sitaram beach retreat in Kerala, India, will spend the day with us in-person in Belgium, to talk to us about:

• Role of prayer in healing.
• Restoring the whole, rather than healing the part.
• Is prayer a placebo?
• Impact of prayer on Āyurveda physicians, healers and therapists.
• How does one pray?
• The power of intention in healing.

We will also learn to chant a Dhanvantari prayer taught to Shantala by her mother.
