On these two Tuesday mornings (9.30AM-10.40AM), our Yoga Sūtras study group will learn the Sanskrit alphabet and practice pronunciation of āsana names.

March 3rd– Sanskrit alphabet & pronunciation of āsana names

March 10th– Sanskrit alphabet continued & Etymology of selected Yoga terminology

We will open these two classes to anyone interested to learn.

At the end of these two classes, you will:

• Learn the pronunciation of all the Sanskrit syllables
• Practice common āsana names – pronunciation
• Learn the correct English transliteration for Sanskrit syllables
• Learn the etymology of important Yoga terminology.
